Live Out Loud Charity is proud to grow our mission in Ireland over the past few years and we will celebrate life with our 2nd Annual Ireland Fashion Show for suicide prevention with an informative seminar, inspiring stories, and a fabulous fashion show held June 25, 2017 in Waterford, Ireland.
The 2nd Annual Ireland LOLC Fashion Show will feature international designers from around the world, as well as local fashion designers. This is a night everyone will remember. Are you ready for the fashion show of your lifetime? We are expecting over 150 guests, countless media outlets, and over fifty models of all sizes, heights, ages, and ethnic backgrounds. Help us raise funds while attending this fun yet informative event. Models and beauty queens from nationwide are taking a stance by parading down our runway, to stop the most preventable cause of death, suicide. Media coverage helps us to raise awareness of our cause. Top performers, suicide prevention seminar, electric fashions, and bold people…it can’t get better than this. April, 2017 – Bowling Against Bullying
Our Miss Worldwide Teen Indiana Ambassador, Kary Long, planned and hosted our first ever Bowling Against Bullying event in Indiana to raise awareness for LOLC and our anti-bullying programs.
Also in April, our Miss Worldwide Pre-Teen Michigan Ambassador Rivyn Lua-Je hosted her 2nd Annual Bowling for Bullying fundraiser in Lapeer, MI to benefit Live Out Loud Charity and spread awareness for our anti-bullying programs.
March, 2017 – Derby Fashion Week
Live Out Loud Charity (LOLC) kicked off Derby Fashion Week with a benefit fashion show that showcased all ages to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention, core character development, and anti-bullying. The event featured local, national, and international designers in a fashion show to educate audience members on the steps to save a life. Two Kentucky Ambassadors include: six year old Kayla Bailey and fifteen year old Shanna McClung who gave heartfelt anti-bullying speeches.
Models of all sizes, heights, ages, and ethnic backgrounds were represented on the catwalk. De de Cox, DeLana McClung, and Shanon Bailey played a pivotal role in bringing the Live Out Loud Charity to Kentucky as mothers that have seen the severe effects of bullying.
Fashion designers included: JOW (Europe Based Designer), Patchcoats by Carrie Ann Allison Welch (Michigan), Kimberly Phillips Clothier (Kentucky), Regiss Bridal and Prom (Kentucky), Kiti Kouture by Jynah James (Chicago), Dresses by Sharisa Freeman (Chicago), Shear Gold Fashions Designs by Ms. Annette Evans (Illinois), Lil’ Lambs Children’s Boutique by Rachael Godbey Thornburg (Kentucky), LaceyJade Designs (Florida), Rachel-Victoria Baxter (Indiana) and Chey Boutique (Kentucky). Vendors include: Patchcoat by Carrie, KEEP Collective with Laura Widders, Ashley’s Heavenly Cupcakes, Kimberly Phillips Clothier, Aimie Stirn a LuLaRoe consultant, LipSense, Chey Boutique, Finespun Clothing, and more.
January, 2017 – New Year Fashion Show
The New Year Fashion Show allowed a host of speakers representing all ages and ethnic backgrounds to educate the audience of the techniques of suicide prevention and what the signs of depression are.
The star speaker, fourteen year old Delaney Natke brought nearly everyone in the audience to tears when she told the harrowing story of her struggle with suicidal thoughts. Even workers backstage were brought to a halt by the trembling of her voice.
Additional speakers touched on anti-bullying and their humanitarian efforts. This included six year old Kayla Garcia the Ultimate Miss Worldwide Latina Ambassador for LOLC and thirteen year old Sophia Tapia the Miss Worldwide Jr. Teen USA Ambassador of the organization. Paige Ryan, the proud Chicago Ambassador shared ways in which she is spreading suicide prevention within the African American Community.
